What is a "booking link"?
A booking link is just a web address (URL) that takes someone directly to your booking page. When a customer clicks a button on your website that says "Book Now", they are being sent to this address. Custom website — HTML code

If you or your developer built your website with HTML, adding a booking button is a single line of code. Here are several ready-to-use examples.

Basic text link

The simplest possible approach — a plain link that takes clients to your booking page:

<a href="https://apptguard.nihnyx.com/book/YOUR-SLUG">Book an Appointment</a>

Replace YOUR-SLUG with your actual booking page slug (found in Settings → Booking).

Styled button

A fully styled button that matches a professional look with no extra CSS files needed:

<a href="https://apptguard.nihnyx.com/book/YOUR-SLUG"
   style="display:inline-block;
          background:#ff4d2e;
          color:#ffffff;
          padding:14px 32px;
          border-radius:8px;
          font-size:16px;
          font-weight:700;
          text-decoration:none;
          font-family:sans-serif;">
  Book an Appointment
</a>

You can change the color, size, and text to match your brand. The background value is the button color in hex format — any color picker website will give you the hex code for your brand color.

Button that opens in a new tab

Add target="_blank" to open the booking page in a new browser tab, keeping your website open in the background:

<a href="https://apptguard.nihnyx.com/book/YOUR-SLUG"
   target="_blank"
   style="display:inline-block;background:#ff4d2e;color:#fff;
          padding:14px 32px;border-radius:8px;font-size:16px;
          font-weight:700;text-decoration:none;font-family:sans-serif;">
  Book Now →
</a>

Floating booking button

A button that stays fixed in the bottom-right corner of every page — visible no matter how far down users scroll. Paste this just before the </body> tag on every page:

<a href="https://apptguard.nihnyx.com/book/YOUR-SLUG"
   target="_blank"
   style="position:fixed;
          bottom:24px;
          right:24px;
          background:#ff4d2e;
          color:#ffffff;
          padding:14px 24px;
          border-radius:50px;
          font-size:15px;
          font-weight:700;
          text-decoration:none;
          font-family:sans-serif;
          box-shadow:0 4px 20px rgba(255,77,46,0.4);
          z-index:9999;">
  Book Now
</a>

Navbar booking button

A button styled to sit inside a navigation bar alongside other links:

<a href="https://apptguard.nihnyx.com/book/YOUR-SLUG"
   style="display:inline-block;
          background:#ff4d2e;
          color:#ffffff;
          padding:8px 20px;
          border-radius:6px;
          font-size:14px;
          font-weight:700;
          text-decoration:none;
          font-family:sans-serif;">
  Book Now
</a>
Choosing a button color
Use your brand color as the button background. If your brand uses blue, replace #ff4d2e with your blue hex code, like #0057ff. A free tool like colorpicker.me can help you find your brand's exact hex code.

Integration troubleshooting

If your booking button is not working as expected, see the dedicated button not working troubleshooting guide. Common issues include:

  • Typing the booking URL manually instead of copying and pasting it (typos are easy to make in long URLs)
  • Forgetting to publish changes in your website editor — most builders require an explicit Publish step
  • Your booking page not being enabled in Settings → Booking
  • Your plan not including the booking page feature — see pricing
